WICSmart FAQ
What is WICSmart and how does it work?
WICSmart is a nutrition education platform where WIC participants can have their education contact through the WICSmart app or online at wicsmart.com.
Where do I find my account number?
Since each agency is different, the account number can vary by state. It may be written on a separate flyer that contains information about WICSmart. It will be different than your eWIC card number. If you cannot locate your account number, please contact your local WIC program.
What do I do if a lesson seems ‘stuck’ when starting a new lesson?
Be sure the volume is turned up. Navigation buttons do not appear until the audio portion of the slide has finished. So, sometimes a module will seem stuck, but it is because the audio is still playing. As soon as the voiceover stops, you will be able to click the Next button to continue
Can I save my lesson?
Lessons can be saved at any time by pressing the ‘Save’ button located with the other navigation buttons.
What do I do once I complete my lesson?
In many cases, you do not have to do anything. Follow the instructions your local program gave you when they told you about WICSmart, and check with them if you have any questions.
I need a new appointment or need to make changes to my appointment. Who do I call?
Please contact your local WIC program for appointment inquiries.
I have a question about my food package, breastfeeding, or additional nutrition question.
Please contact your local WIC program.
How many modules do I need to take?
This varies by agency. Please contact your local WIC program for further instructions.
When is the due date for my lesson?
If your local WIC clinic has assigned you a specific lesson, the due date will be displayed below the lesson title in the “Assigned Lessons”. If you have NOT been assigned a specific lesson, call your local WIC clinic for due date information.
